The artist is a documentary filmmaker and visual artist from northern Myanmar. Since 2010, Artist has been working with child soldiers and involved in the anti-civil war movement in Myanmar with photography.

In Artist’s second solo exhibition, he/she explored overwhelming mental confinement, triggered by the extreme power abuses in her/his country. She/he moved back to her/his native town after an art residency on the Myanmar-China border, continuing her/his art projects at her/his bedroom studio to avoid Yangon, the anxious and unsafe work environment for politically engaged artists. In this exhibition, he/she explores ways to overcome the fear of suspending him/her not to be an active and informed artist.
